2020 SEASON POSTPONED

Last updated: 16 March 2020

We write today with sad news. Given the current Covid-19 crisis and advice from the government, we have taken the difficult decision to close The Attic Theatre for the foreseeable future. This means that our productions of Macbeth and Twelfth Night will not go ahead as planned later this month. We do hope that this is merely a postponement, and that we will be able to put these productions on later this year. Given the uncertainty of the situation, we will be suspending all ticket sales for the 2020 season from today, and will reopen our box office as soon as we can.

Please support us through this difficult time

The next few months will be a difficult time for us and without the support of our audiences we simply will not survive. Our shows may have stopped, but our overheads and bills will not. Your donation will help us to survive this crisis. if you have enjoyed our productions over the years and would like to support us, please visit our Go Fund Me page to find out more.

We would also be incredibly grateful if you could share this with anyone who may be able to help us through this difficult time.

Information for ticket bookers

We are offering refunds to everyone who has booked tickets with us for our upcoming season, but we ask that you might consider forgoing a refund and donating the money to us instead.

If everyone who has booked tickets with us decides not to ask for a refund, this will be enough to help the theatre survive for an additional two months during this crisis – it really could be the difference between us surviving this year or not and your generosity really would mean the world to us, our casts, our creatives, our volunteers and everyone who works so hard to produce our shows.

We understand that this will not be possible for everyone as they navigate these difficult times so if you would like to arrange a refund please call our box office on 07952 819557 or email boxoffice@theattictheatre.co.uk . Please bear with us during this busy time as it may take a little longer than usual to get back to you.

If you would like to donate your ticket money to us then you do not need to do anything – please accept our heartfelt thanks. We truly cannot express how much it means to us.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
