Henry IV is dead and Prince Hal has ascended the throne to become King Henry V. In order to free the country from civil war, Henry turns his attentions to France and his claim to the French throne. With the nobles and church on his side and an insult from the French Dauphin, Henry goes to war.

This production comes complete with period music and costumes to create the famous battles of Harfleur and Agincourt. Perhaps the most patriotic play in English literature is brought to life by award winning theatre company Tread the Boards.

“This is a performance of the first order, totally engaged, richly varied and convincing in its entirety.”

"A magical and superb experience. We have seen Henry V many times and are regular visitors to the Globe in London and the performance in the Attic was up there with them. Bravo!"

"Yet again Tread the Boards have brought Shakespeare to life and made it comprehensible and exciting. All the actors were excellent, especially those playing more than one part. Mr Partridge created some spine tingling moments delivering the well known speeches. Think I will be going to see it again!"
