THE ATTIC THEATRE BREAK IN

Spring 2022 was an incredibly challenging time for the

theatre.

After two years of closure due to the pandemic 2022 was

always going to be a challenging time.

In April during a ten day period the theatre was broken into

four times causing considerable damage to the box office, fire

safety doors and windows.

£200 was stolen along with the box office laptop, printer and

speaker. The fire doors were forcibly knocked down using a fire extinguisher and the box office signage was badly damaged resulting in the theatre being unable to use the materials.

Fundraising has led to an incredible £1,289.16 being raised to go towards repair costs of the box office signage and the stolen hardware - a huge thank you is due to those who donated and those who took the time to help. We look forward to showing the new signage very soon.
